My dad always has a quote for everything (most of which I've heard a million times). One of my favorites is, "life is a grindstone, and whether it grinds you down or polishes you up depends on what your made of". Basically, everyone will have trials and tribulations. The question is not what they do to you, but what you do with them. I have decided that what your made of stands for your perspective on life. If you think of life as an opportunity to polish yourself you will truly wind up a beautiful marble masterpiece. On the other hand if you fight the grindstone, you will most likely end up an uncharacteristic chunk of rock with blunt edges. I already have a Journal so I am going to call this my Diary. Yes, they are the same thing. The only difference is that unlike Anne Frankes Diary, I know that the whole world is open to read the things I write. Thats why I have a Journal. If you read my blogs, I hope you enjoy them and can relate to them. I wish you luck in your own Journey to Polish yourself a masterpiece.

P.S. -Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. Thats why they call it the present. Embrace your gift everyday when the sun rises, and treat every sunset like its your last. For before you know it the present moments will be memories, and without memories our lives are truly empty.
